For most individuals and small businesses I now recommend building your website in Wordpress. But sometimes your needs are more “out of the box.” Perhaps you need a custom database to capture registration information or some similar online web application. For those special cases, I build custom-designed, database-driven websites and web applications using ColdFusion.
